Confirm Visit Time, In-Visit Recording, and each documentation section. Options include:
Save for Later — keep post-visit recording pending
Start Post-Visit — capture end-of-visit audio
Submit Visit As Is — send documentation for back-office verification and EHR writeback
Does Submit mean I’m done with billing?
Submit sends your encounter from mobile. Verification, coding, and billing may still happen on web. Check your agency’s workflow for final sign-off.
Why can’t I submit?
Common blockers:
Medications still need review
Unaddressed active wounds
Missing required sections per Outline
Upload still in progress — check Uploads tab
Troubleshooting: Tap incomplete rows to jump back into the section. After fixing meds or wounds, return to Review Your Visit and submit again.
Who is responsible for the OASIS and the signed note?
Scribe recommends responses to speed you up, but it does not determine your answers. The assessing clinician reviews every AI-recommended entry, corrects anything that is wrong, and enters the final OASIS answer.
Per CMS’s OASIS-E2 Final Guidance Manual (effective April 1, 2026), AI may recommend a response but may not determine it. The entry you review and sign — not the draft — is the legal medical record, and accountability for accuracy stays with the signing clinician.
